Upcoming Honor Phones in India 2020

The Huawei-owned Honor has some big plans set for the next year in India. The company will soon be launching a variety of smartphones in different segments including entry-level budget category to premium flagship segment. Here are the top upcoming Honor phones in India.

Honor V30 / Honor View30
Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro have been already leaked with 60-megapixel camera, 5G support and a hole-punch display design. Honor V30 run on in-house Kirin 990 5G SoC, based on an 7nm process and claimed to be the smallest 5G chipset in the world to support dual-mode NSA and SA 5G connectivity.

Successor to the View20 smartphone by Honor, the upcoming Honor V30 series will launch on November 6 in China, and will later come to India as remodelled Honor View30 series.

Honor V30 Pro / Honor View30 Pro
Honor V30 Pro will launch alongside the standard Honor V30 with some added features and hardware. Both the Honor V30 smartphones will be powered by Kirin 990 5G chip. The chip is capable of using 5G with both NSA and SA 5G network as long as the smartphones are receiving 5G signals.

Honor V30 Pro will run on the same in-house Kirin 990 5G SoC supporting dual-mode NSA and SA 5G connectivity. Honor V30 Pro will launch on November 6 in China, and will later come to India as remodelled Honor View30 Pro.

Honor 9C
Known for its entry-level budget smartphones, the Huawei sub-brand will again be launching a successor to the current Honor 8C smartphone with some better features in the 10,000 segment. Honor 8C came with an HD+ IPS display running in an an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC with a dual rear system, 64GB of onboard storage and a 4,000mAh battery.


Honor 8C houses a dual camera setup including a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Upfront, Honor 8C offers an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

Honor 9X
Honor 9X and 9X Pro recently launched in China, and the devices may land in the country soon, probably by the end of September. The devices are in line with the Honor 20 series featuring the glass back in gradient colours with X-shaped patterns. Honor 9X and 9X Pro feature all-screen no-notch displays with an 6.59-inch OLED display on top.

Both the Honor 9X smartphones are powered by the new flagship Kirin 810 chipset, based on an 7nm process. Honor 9X offers a dual camera setup featuring a 48MP primary camera coupled with a 2MP depth sensor.

Honor 9X Pro
Honor 9X Pro will come with a triple camera system featuring a 48MP primary camera coupled with a 2MP depth sensor and an additional third 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor. The 9X smartphones will come with notchless OLED displays housing a 16MP selfie camera on top. Honor 9X Pro will have better internals compared to the standard Honor 9X with improved features.

Both the Honor 9X and 9X Pro come with the same 4,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The Honor 9X smartphones in India are expected to start at around Rs 15,000.

Honor 10N
Honor will soon be launching a successor to the successful Honor 9N smartphone in the country. One of the first notch smartphones in India, it will be getting a successor next year, Honor 10N. Huawei has also filed multiple trademark applications of upcoming smartphones at the European Union Intellectual Property Office which includes Honor 10N. The same Honor 10N will come to India as well with better features and functions.

Honor 9N came with a Full HD+ notched 5.84-inch display running on in-house HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor with a 16MP front camera and a dual rear camera. The rear camera comprises of a 13MP primary sensor coupled with a 2MP sensor, backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
